The Patterson fanily had just moved to the area. Kevin petterson, the farther had just gotten a job as a vive president for a compony that had his headqurters in this city. They had brought a house not far from his work.

His wife karen was a house wife. She did have a colege digree. She had worked in the past. She had served in management posistions but perfered to stay home. She was pregnant with twin girls.

They had three other kids. They had an eight year old son. They also had a six year boy and a three year old daughter. They were a loving family.  They had a good reputation.

One of there first task when they arived in this area was to find a church. They had a realy good church in there old city. They hoped that they could find a church home hear.

They did some research.  Like most cities, churches ran the gamut from uniterarian to mainline to evengelical to fundimental and everything in between.  The Paterson believed in a literal interpratation of the bible. They were prety conservative. They ruled out the uniterarian and mainline churches. After several researching, they narrowed there options of church attendence to three churches.

One was a independent fundimental baptist church.  It was known as old fashioned. It could be strict. The other was known as doctrinaly conservitive but cultualy moderate. Then the third option was springvale community college.

S.c.c had a very impressive website.  It was very professional.  The designer was someone who designed website for a living. The person was actualy a member of the church. The church website had actual pictures of the church not public domain pics. The website had pertinent information on the church. There was a section for first time visators. It said to be please read before attending.  Kev  and karen were surprised by that.  Usualy church websites don’t say things like that. They clicked on the visitor’s schedule.  They were curios . they did want to learn more.

“Thank you for your interest in springvale community church. S.c.c may be different then your use to. If you plan to visit in the morning service we ask that you plan to stay in the afternoon though the evening service. ” the website said.

They thought that was a bit odd.  It appeared to be a bit harsh.  It was more harsh then it needed to be.they decided to keep reading.  There curiosity was definitely peaked.

Those attending our church are asked to stay though the day.  We provide a nursery for every one. We ask that all who attend take a nap in our nursery. We want you refreshed and ready for the rest of the days activities.

A church that had a church nursery. This was quite irregular. Why would they do that. Why would they incist on that?  They seemed very adamant on this point. It seemed that they had no intention of budging.

What happened was people visited in the morning but did not stay. It was felt by the elders that if they stayed, they night build a connection with the church people and might want to come back. That was the hope.

Then there was the reason. During the evening service there were several people who talked in there sleep.  It was quite a distraction.

It became a huge issue.  So much of an issue that the pastor at the time convened an emergency meeting of the bored of elders to adress the isue. They look at several options. Then a solutions presented itself.

It was a wife of an elder that came up with the idea. She ran a child care center.  She suggested church nap time. Everyone will participate.  Not only would it alow for church nembers to get rested, it would alow for bonding between people in tge church.

After some discussion and ironing out the isues, they developed a plan.  A plan they felt would work. The church membership was reluctant to accept the plan at first. Eventually it was embraced . after several years it was considered a huge success.

By the time the paterson looked into the church, this policy was deeply ingrained into church culture.  It was hear to stay at this point.

The paterson gave it some thought. They almost decided to not even visit the church. They liked other aspects of the church. After quite a bit of reflection, they decided to give it a chance.

They got dressed up. They got the kids ready . they arrived promptly.  The church was great. The people were warm and friendly. The service was great.  The preaching was really good. They had a realy good nursery and children program.  It seemed like a perfect fitt.

The church had a potluck after the service.  It was tradition.  After that it was nap time. The nap time was administered by the elders,  deacons and there wives. The men , women and children were separated.  Keven and Karen kissed.

Kev folowed other men. They had to get undressed. Apparently they provided bed cloths. He thought that it was a little strange but everything about this was strange. Then he was given his ‘nap cloths’  . it was pajamas a one sie and a diaper.

He was shocked. A diaper.  Apparently they were expected to use it.  He was not thriled by that. It was only one day. He was just visiting.  He just had to servive the day.

He took off his cloths.  He hated being naked around any one.  He was reluctant to be nude around Karen at first. He felt weird putting the diaper on.  He felt even more weird having the onesie on and pjs.  He got in bed. This was a realy bizare day.

He laid down. He fell asleep fairly easily. He got a good nights sleep. He woke up wet. He was shocked and stunned.
Karen folowed the ladies. The ladies hear did not not seem to have a problem with nudity in front of other girls.  Karen herself did not have any issues with nudity.  She got undressed . she found the diaper unusual.  It did make sense.

She fell asleep.  She too woke up wet. She got changed. They both decided to come back to the church. Eventually they did become members.

Diaper sleep was some of the best sleep they both had. They decided to wear diapers to bed. The twin girls were born healthy and had a good life.

The end.

This is a work of fiction and fantasy.  No churches like this exist in real life. The author does not endorse this activity.
